Energy Max Co., Ltd., a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Electric Meters and a provider of Smart Grid Solutions, has successfully completed the replacement of over 70,000 Mechanical Meters with Electronic Meters (E-Meters) for the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). The project, fully executed as per the contract, has been officially acknowledged with a Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) received on March 28, 2025.
This milestone marks Energy Max “Energy Max” as the first company to complete and deliver a project in the PEA Southern 1 Region, Phetchaburi Province. The project covered five district Nong Ya Plong, Khao Yoi, Ban Lat, Bang Khonthi, and Amphawa out of a total of 12 Regions. The accomplishment reflects the company’s capability, commitment, readiness, and expertise in efficient meter system implementation.
The meter replacement project not only enhances the accuracy of electricity consumption measurement and monitoring for consumers but also enables retrospective analysis and helps prevent electricity theft. This represents a significant step forward in modernizing Thailand's electricity infrastructure towards a sustainable digital future.
Leveraging the experience gained from this project, Energy Max is prepared to expand its collaboration with the PEA in future tenders for replacing Mechanical Meters with Electronic Meters (E-Meters) and installing Smart Grid Systems across more than 20 million households. This effort aligns with and supports the PEA’s policy and expansion plans.
